This Shipping Guidelines Policy sets minimum expectations for Sellers using Gem Minted.

These guidelines exist to protect Buyers, Sellers, and the integrity of the marketplace.

1. Seller Shipping Responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for:

  • Dispatching items within their stated handling time
  • Using packaging appropriate to collectible items
  • Providing accurate dispatch and tracking information
  • Ensuring items are protected against damage during transit

Failure to meet these standards may result in enforcement action.

2. Risk & Dispatch

Unless otherwise required by law:

  • Risk passes to the Buyer upon dispatch
  • Proof of dispatch may be required in disputes
  • Sellers are encouraged to use tracked services for higher-value items

3. Product-Specific Packaging Guidelines (Examples)

These are minimum expectations, not exhaustive rules.

A. Singles (Raw Cards)

Sellers should:

  • Sleeve cards
  • Use rigid protection (top loaders or card savers)
  • Prevent movement inside packaging
  • Protect against moisture and bending

Sleeve → Top loader → Team bag → Cardboard sandwich → Padded envelope.


B. Sealed Products

Sellers should:

  • Prevent crushing or corner damage
  • Avoid excessive internal movement
  • Protect factory seals

Bubble wrap + snug box with void fill.


C. Graded Cards

Sellers should:

  • Protect slabs from cracking
  • Avoid loose movement
  • Shield against impact

📌 Example:
Slab sleeve + bubble wrap + small rigid box.

4. Tracking & Proof

Tracking is strongly recommended for:

  • Tracking is required for all orders place on the Gem Minted platform, anyone found to not be providing these risks being liable to undelivered claims and refunds that would go in favour of the buyer due to no proof otherwise.

Failure to provide proof of dispatch may result in:

  • Refund rulings in favour of Buyers
  • Held payouts
  • Account restrictions

5. Courier Delays & Losses

Gem Minted is not responsible for:

  • Courier delays
  • Lost parcels
  • Customs issues

Sellers should pursue claims directly with couriers where applicable.

6. Enforcement

Gem Minted may:

  • Issue warnings
  • Remove listings
  • Hold payouts
  • Restrict or terminate Seller accounts

Repeated failure to follow shipping guidelines may result in permanent removal.
